How we serve our guests: When booking directly with Sandholme for stays of two or more nights there is a complimentary bottle of wine waiting in the fridge of your guestroom. We would like to think that all those who have stayed with us have thoroughly enjoyed their stay and the hospitality offered them.We continue to look forward to receiving many more guests to join us and experience the natural beauty of the Jervis Bay area while allowing us to serve their needs and provide the dedication to detail and service for which Sandholme has become synonymous. We have enjoyed the company of over 2500 people over the five years we have offered our home as very special accommodation for couples. Sandholme is a place where our guests are respected and treated as very special people. We respect their private space and when requested will guide them to restaurants, parklands and local attractions, beaches, each of which we have personally experienced. We care for our guests' well being, as you would for a dear friend, and will often wait up for late arrivals or late returns from dinner in case they have forgotten their key, or to advise that an early morning Cruise has been cancelled so the option of Brunch and a sleep in on Sunday is available.Our guests are from many nationalities, creeds, backgrounds and professions and are a delight to share an anecdote or some experience of their day exploring Jervis Bay. Sandholme offers couples an opportunity to escape and unwind from a busy lifestyle. We service guestrooms after breakfast, but avoid disturbing any who have returned to slumber. On Sunday breakfast is from 8 to 9am particularly for those taking a morning cruise OR Brunch from 10.30am for those who wish to snuggle in and take a gentle start to the day. Late check-out is generally available on request for those choosing the later sitting. Breakfast times are discussed; normally the times are; Monday to Saturday 8.30 to 10 am, breakfast is prepared separately for each guest from their menu selection. If a dinner booking has not been made we explain the options and offer to make a reservation. Lots of brochures are available for guests to collect. We outline some of the activities and attractions available from our own experience. As well we present a series of images on the in-house TV system that provide a good overview of the highlights of the area, Jervis Bay is truly magnificent. Maps are provided at check-in that point out the highlights of the area. By pre-arrangement we will provide a light supper to those who arrive late of an evening direct from work, usually after 9pm of a Friday night.
